By Sarah Means

Did you know you’re royalty?  It’s true, but let me be transparent with you today – I’ve been challenged the past few days to remember who I am in Christ.  I have had to remind myself that I’m royalty.  I’m not defined by what I do, who I love or who on earth loves me, what I produce, my career, or even my ministry.  Just plain old me is enough.  I’m Sarah – daughter of the King!  I’m His Princess!

The same is said for you.  Yes, YOU!!  You’re God’s princess!

Your kids don’t determine your worth. Or if you don’t have children, it’s not determining your usefulness.  Your husband, or lack thereof, doesn’t dictate your merit.  Your career will never equate to your desirability.  I can go on and on.  Nothing you can do, or not do will change the royal blood coursing through your veins.  You’ve been added to the most loving and righteous family ever – no earthly kingdom can compare!  Let’s dig into what God says about each of us!

Isaiah 62:3 NLT proclaims these words over you and I:  “The LORD will hold you in his hand for all to see— a splendid crown in the hand of God.”  Just consider this – we are a crown that God holds for all to see.  Just as we are, because we are His!

And if we read 1 Peter 2:9 it declares we are chosen.  Oh, that our hearts could grasp the depth of His tender care for each of us.  That because we are His, nothing more is necessary to be royalty.  He chose you.  He chose me. He is waiting for us to rise up in the God-given authority!

“But you are the chosen race, the King’s priests, the holy nation, God’s own people, chosen to proclaim the wonderful acts of God, who called you out of darkness into his own marvelous light.”

I know God has a great sense of humor!  Here’s why- I send funny pictures to friends to friends all the time, funny filters and all kinds of nonsense.  Today I took this one!  Well since we are all friends so I had to share with you this one – oh the fun of technology.  It is just too much!  It’s okay to have some fun, we are kids of the King, right?

This next week, let’s look at ourselves in the mirror each morning and declare this truth:

“I’m God’s royalty.  In Him I have my worth.  And nothing I do or don’t do changes that He chose me!”

In April of 2015 she started an online ministry via Facebook, Women of Worth Ministries, with 30 ladies.  God has grown this ministry to over 3,500 women from around the world, and now a website is developed as well:  She is excited to see her blogs impact women to become bolder and more authentic in their daily life to reach their immediate world for Jesus.

When not working as a lending call center manager at a local credit union, blogging or being involved in ministry she loves to spend time with her family!  She enjoys shopping, coffee, new socks and laughing!  She is known for posting on social media, using #iamlivingablessedlife, as she believes she is – and we all have the blessings of Jesus in our lives if we take time to see them!  She is honored and excited to be involved in all God is doing within women as they draw near to Him!
